Nikon D5300 comes with 24.2 mega pixels DX-format (24x16mm) CMOS sensor, but without OLPF (Optical Low Pass Filter). This DSLR camera uses EXPEED 4 image processor, which is the main processor of Nikon DSLR cameras, like D810, D750, D5500, D5600, D3300. D3400 and D7200.
EXPEED 4 is capable enough to record full HD (1080p) videos at 60, 50, 30, 25 and 24 frames per second. This is the lower version of EXPEED 5 which powers some of the Nikon flagships cameras like Nikon D850, D7500 etc.
To control the light sensitivity, Nikon D5300 has a wide range of ISO ranging from 100-12800, which can be expanded upto 25,600. D5300 can continuously shoot at 5 frames per seconds, with the maximum shutter speed of 1/4000 seconds.
For fast and accurate focusing Nikon D5300 has AF system of 39 points focus system with out of which 9 sensors are of cross-type technology. These sensors, are quite helpful in locking objects faster and precisely.
