Huawei Nova 3 – Introduction
After launching the world’s first triple rear camera smartphone on 27 March, 2018, now, Huawei has announced their next smartphone of Huawei Nova series, which will be Huawei Nova 3. Huawei Nova 3, has been officially announced to be released on 26 July, 2018 by Huawei. Basically, this smartphone has been announced to stand against, OnePlus 6, that is also the reason that, prices of both of these smartphones are almost similar.
Actually, this was a kind of necessity for Huawei to bring something in this price range because, Huawei P20 Pro is too costly to afford and its lighter version, Huawei P20 Lite doesn’t have everything to buy. That is way, Huawei has decided to being something in mid-range as a mixture of both of the smartphones of P20 series.
So, let’s begin, what Huawei has brought to us in this Huawei Nova 3.
Huawei Nova 3 – Display and Design
As I have mentioned before that, Huawei Nova 3 is the mixture of Huawei P20 Pro and P20 lite, so, its design speaks that all. The front panel of this phone has edge-to-edge display with a notch of some millimetres, which is should have been removed this time, but Huawei has carried it with this smartphone too.
Its back panel comes with a color changing panel in light, with vertically placed dual rear cameras with LED flash and fingerprint scanner at the middle. So, overall there is not much upgradation in terms design, which is negative point, because today everyone is looking for innovations and also design is always that factor because of which most of people switch to another smartphone.
The display of Huawei Nova 3, is pretty much similar to P20 lite with 6.3 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display, this display has ~84.2% screen to body ratio. This display has the screen resolutions of 1080 x 2340 pixels with the ~409 pixels per inch density, it also has notch, overall this screen could have been much better if this phone has been released without notch.
Huawei Nova 3 – Processor, Memory and Internal Storage
This smartphone has a good processing unit, which is almost similar to the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. As, Huawei uses its own processor, which is Kirin and in Huawei Nova 3, Hisilicon Kirin 970, which was there in the flagship smartphone of Huawei, P20 Pro and it priced almost $870 USD.
This processor has eight cores (4×1.8 GHz Cortex-853 and 4×2.4 Cortex-A73), with this processor all the gaming and multi-tasking will be much flawless now. And, when you are getting the same processor at the half of its price, then automatically it adds a positive point in this phone.
For the better and fluent performance of this processor, has been attached with 6 GB of RAM, with which every work is pretty much fast and smooth. Multi-tasking, running of heavy apps and games is giving better outcome with this perfect match of this processor and RAM. So, you can own this phone, for the same performance which you will get in the double of its price.
In terms of internal storage, you will get two options of 64 GB and 128 GB, which can further expandable upto 256 GB. But one thing is good that both the internal storage variants will have only a single RAM option and that will be of 6 GB.
Huawei Nova 3 – Camera and Battery
Huawei always get appreciation for its camera, because of its good quality and this time too we are going to see one of such awesome cameras. You will get dual rear camera of 16 MP of f/1.8 aperture + 20 MP of f/1.8 aperture, the quality of this rear camera is really awesome, that you can actually use this camera, if you love to use capture occasionally.
Along with this dual rear camera, it also has dual front camera of 24 MP + 2 MP, but without auto-focus, you can manually operate its focus to focus any object. Now you can click awesome selfies of good depth.
Huawei Nova 3, is powered with 3750 mAh Li-Ion Non-removable battery, which will give you a stand-by time of around one day stand-by with rough usage. You will be able to charge this phone faster with the help of Type-C quick charge 3.0.
Huawei Nova 3 – Colors
Currently, this phone has been announced in four color variants, which are Black, Blue, Purple and Gold but if you are looking for a smartphone with good shades, then you can own it in Blue color, because in this color you can easily notice the color changing pattern, when you will tilt it in light.
