Till now only laptop and desktops was used to play games, because the amount of power and graphics needed to play a game can only be supply by them. But this is the time to bring something new because its time to move on for something great.

Asus ROG Phone will be the first gaming smartphone of the world and the everything in this is perfect and powerful. There are many things, which only a smartphone can provide so, Asus has also added some mods to make this phone a complete gaming smartphone. So, let’s start with the specifications of this phone.

Asus ROG Phone – In-box Content

To make this phone completely different from other smartphone, everything from box to features, controls to mods has been improved. This phone comes in triangular designer box, which is compact, tough and stylish.

Inside this box you get a Asus ROG Phone, USB Type-C cable fast charger and the most interesting thing, which differentiate this gaming smartphone from other smartphone is a external adapter, this adapter can be connected to the phone with the help of mod connector slot, which is on the right arm of the phone.

This adapter contains a USB Type-C slot, 3.5 mm audio jack and an external fan mounted adapter, which will cool down your phone, while playing to give an flawless and heat free experience.

Asus ROG Phone – Display and Design

This Asus ROG Phone is mainly designed to attract gamers as it has strong build quality and attractive rear panel, which has a unique designed fingerprint sensor like a parallelogram and also a RBG coloured logo, which changes its colour, while playing and these lightings can also be controlled manually according to your choice.

This powerful processor has got company of LPDDR4X 8 GBs RAM, which is good for gamers. Because gamers never satisfies with a single game, they always need a new and better game, and a better game will ask for good memory and for processor as well and both of these sections are very well applied in this gaming smartphone.

In terms of internal storage it is best, because now a days an awesome game usually requires some Giga bytes of space and if you don’t have much space for that you will surely leave it. So, to free you from this tension Asus has given two variants, one is 128 GB and another is of 512 GB. There is no option of increasing it via memory card.

According to my personal opinion Asus should have also think about 256 GB of storage, because surely there will be a huge difference between the price ranges of these to variants, but if 256 GB variant was there then the margin of price difference could be decrease.

Asus ROG Phone – Camera and Battery

As Asus ROG Phone is a gaming smartphone so, they didn’t have put more focus on this filed. But, it doesn’t means that they have skipped it, this phone has dual rear cameras of 12 MP + 8 MP, with auto phase detection and LED flash and also you can record 4K videos at 30 frames per second.

It has an average secondary camera of 8 MP, which really wants upgradation. The features and other specifications of this secondary camera is under curtains, but we will update you just after its release.

Finally, in battery backup there is no issue, in this smartphone you will get a Non-removable Li-Ion battery of 4000 mAh, which supports fast charging of Type-C 2.0.

Asus ROG Phone – MODS

This Asus smartphone has been designed to provide all the comforts to gamers. So, to improve the mobile gaming experience some interesting mods also have been included, which will surely excite you.

Although, the names of these mods is yet to be revealed, but there functions and prototype has been revealed.

There are total four different mods for different functions has been given. The first mod is an adapter, which comes with the device itself in its box. This adapter is basically designed to charge your phone while playing and also for cooling down the device.

This adapter attaches to the rear panel of the phone. It consists, charging slot, headphone jack and cooling fan. Next mod is a joystick mounted mod, which completely turns your into a joystick, the installation of this mod is same as the adapter, it has two joysticks, and four front bottoms like a gaming remote. This is pretty much helpful in playing racing games.

The third mod is the best mod of this device, which is a desktop mod. With the help of this mod you can attach your device with PC. The only thing you have to do is, put your phone on that mod, and this mod contains several ports like HDMI port, 4 USB ports, SD card slot, charging slot and headphone jack. This mod gives the real feel of gaming device, because with this you can play mobile game directly on PC.

The last mod is quite expensive mod, this gaming mod, consist of box in which a 6 inches Non-removable screen in pre-fitted on the one half and you can connect your phone one the another half. This mod is pretty much like a palmtop, which has all the major ports, gaming switches and 6000 mAh separate battery.

Asus ROG Phone – Colors

Currently, this Asus ROG Phone is available in only black color, and in my opinion there is no chances of releasing any other color variant, because as per its design only black suites on it.
